Women Looking For Partners With 5 C’s Are Realistic, Not Materialistic

There are many articles out there that criticize women who are materialistic. But is it so wrong to be a materialistic person? Now the Cambridge Dictionary defines materialism as the belief that having money and possessions is the most important thing in life.

With today’s economy and expenses, this is something I truly believe. I am not afraid to be labelled as a materialistic person. Hence to me, it is important to find a partner that has the 5 C’s. The 5 C’s are cash, condominium, car, credit card and most importantly, a career.

You know what’s it like to live without money

The harsh reality is that only someone who has never experienced a hard living can say “money isn’t the most important thing in life”. But if you’ve been on the other side, knowing what it’s like to live a day with no cash in your pocket, you’ll know money is a need. I expect my life partner to feel the same too.

The last thing you want to be arguing with your partner is the issue of not having enough money. So really, don’t feel ashamed if your friends make fun of you for looking for a rich man.

You want someone who can provide security & stability

You worked hard to get to where you are now. For sure, you want to be with someone who has the same goals as you do. Being brought up in a traditional household, I loved how many father is able to provide for the family’s well-being.

Being the man of the household, him never failing to provide gives us a sense of security, which I still believe (no matter how modern we get) makes a man, especially in Asians country. After all, how many times have you heard your girlfriends complaining about their man being insecure for earning less than their girlfriends.

You’re at the age of settling down

No more games, you want to settle with someone who is already stable in life. Not because you don’t want to grow together but because you want someone is responsible. A man who has the 5 C’s knows what he wants out of life and is responsible in fulfilling his goals.

Beside’s you’ve seen your girlfriends struggling with their spouses over housing loans, jobs and such. Find a guy who is stable enough for the both of you to move on in the next phase of your life – growing a family.

It sure is nice to have someone pamper you

Yes, while you are a strong and independent woman, it does not mean you still don’t enjoy when your S.O spoils you once in awhile. Some girls love their man to foot in the bill whenever they go out. It’s a nice gesture after all in which some women misinterpret it as “hurting a man’s ego should they pay for the bill.”

Perhaps it doesn’t have to be all the time, but during special occasions it sure is nice – or you might just compare your S.O to your girlfriend’s BF.

Proud to show him off

Bringing your man out to parties and gatherings feel so good because he has it all. You can proudly introduce him to families without feeling worried of being judged. One of the most questioned ask is what do you work as… Which he can answer in this case.

Sure money is not everything, but to live a comfortable life it is. Love alone isn’t going to feed and put a roof over your head. Looking for a man who has the stability to provide just gives you that reassurance in life that you need. In the end it’s not about us being materialistic, but realistic.
