Wendy Williams Calls Billie Eilish’s Naivety “Dangerous” After Fan Tried Entering Her Home

Grammy winner Billie Eilish and her parents have been granted a temporary restraining order against 24-year-old Prenell Rousseau after Rousseau got too close for comfort… a total of seven times. And the May 13th edition of her show, “Wendy @ Home”, Wendy Williams calls out Billie and Finneas for choosing to stay put in their family home. She starts by saying,

“Poor Billie Eilish. You know, she and her brother, they love their mom and dad’s house. They love it so much that they actually still do live there with their mom and dad.”

She called the situation “really dangerous” and answers the question of, ‘Well, what should she do?’ herself. Telling Eilish, she says they should take “some of that good old money that they’ve been making from that music” to buy herself and her family a new place. That’s not all, she advises,

“And stop posting where you live. You see Billie, I appreciate your grassroots talent and your naivety to crazies and people who might want to harm you. Don’t give tours inside your house.”

She finishes by telling Eilish to “buy a compound and lock it down”.

The 18-year-old musician filed for civil harassment protection on Monday. According to reports obtained by TMZ, Rousseau appeared at Billie Eilish’s family home seven times. He rang the doorbell to ask if she was there and Eilish’s father, who answered, told him no. Rousseau then left before returning that evening, while behaving erratically.

“While we waited for security, Mr. Rousseau remained on our porch, sat down and began to read a book, while also continuing to engage in a periodic monologue,” Billie and her family alleged in legal docs. “My father repeatedly asked him to leave, but he refused…”

It is reported that the 24-year-old also tried to open the door by turning the door handle to gain entrance twice. What’s more, five out of these seven appearances, Rousseau was without a face mask.

It’s my mom’s birthday!!! Here’s a picture of my head on my mom’s body, mom’s head on dad’s body and so on. I have never once in my life wished to be anything instead of my mother’s son. Her ability to carry herself selflessly through life, always caring for those around her, always making sure the plans are fair. She’s an immense talent at so many things- songwriting, singing, acting, improv, a world class chef and baker, an animal rescuer, the list goes on. I am inspired daily by my mom and I’m nowhere she didn’t encourage and support me to be. Love you mama. Sad we can’t take you out to your favorite restaurant tonight or any other public space, lucky I get to spend more time with you. Happy birthday ♥️

A judge in LA ordered Prenell Rousseau to stay 200 yards away from Billie and her family members, as confirmed by BBC. This comes after Rosseau was taken into custody twice that week, as the police are not holding trespassers or “non-violent offenders” in an attempt to avoid the spread of COVID-19. The judge’s order stipulates that Rousseau must stay 200 yards (182 metres) away from Eilish and her parents (her brother is not named in the case) and cease all attempts at contact. Rousseau has since been sent back to New York but a hearing has been scheduled for June 1.

Billie and her family, including her brother Finneas, have been cooped up in her childhood home in LA during the COVID-19 lockdown. She recently announced the cancellation of all of her upcoming shows for her “WHERE DO WE GO?” world tour.

But it seems like the power duo, Eilish and O’Connell, have not just been sitting around. In an interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, Billie revealed that she and Finneas have made a whole new song about her feelings while in quarantine.

“It kinda hit a couple weeks ago,” she began. “So, we been in the ‘stu’ which just means Finneas’ basement, basically. And we actually, we wrote a whole song in its entirety. Like, an entire song, which is kind of rare for us and I really love it. It was exactly what I needed to say when we wrote it.”

Here’s to hoping they continue to be safe and we hear the new song soon!
