Waterproof Mascaras & Eyeliners Under RM50 To Help You Brace This Monsoon Season

Beauty junkies regularly rant and rave about the beauty products they’re trying, but they will usually sing praises for products that come with a hefty price tag.

What about the affordable ones though? There has to be a way for you to look flawless without having to spend so much, right? Don’t worry, we’re here to make things easier for you.

For this article, our team has tested out three sets of waterproof mascaras and eyeliners under RM50 that have been recommended to us. Scroll down to find out which one of these that we would purchase again in the future:

Waterproof Mascara

1. Kiss Me Heroine Make Mascara

Price – RM 48

What we like – The mascara comes in a beautiful packaging and sleek tube design which is not too bulky. Using it will give you natural-looking lashes that are clean with no clumps. What’s more, our lashes were lifted instantly and can last for hours even after getting our face splashed with water balloons.

What we dislike – Aside from being a little pricey, everything else was great.

Rating – Highly Likely!

2. Maybelline Hypercurl Volum’ Express Mascara

Price – RM26

What we like – The shade is deep charcoal black which will make you feel as if you have Cleopatra’s eyes. It dries up fast, doesn’t leave any residues and gives volume to your lashes making it full and thick. Great to use underwater!

What we dislike – Requires a few coats to get that voluminous look. Thus, if you have untrained hands, this might lead you to have clumpy lashes.

Rating – For the price tag, Very Likely!

3. Silkygirl Lash Prism Waterproof Mascara

Price – RM 15.50

What we like – Lengthen your lashes while adding volume with this super cheap mascara from Silkygirl. Not only that, but it has a really nice black pigment too.

What we dislike – Has a creamy wet texture which made our lashes feel a little heavy. Ugh, say no to droopy lashes!

Rating – Less Likely

Waterproof Eyeliner

1. Maybelline Hypersharp Power Black Liner

Price – RM 25

What we like – Soft brush with a sharp tip, which makes it super easy to draw winged liners. The best part is, this thick black pigmented eyeliner is long-lasting, smudge-proof as well as wallet-friendly.

What we dislike – NONE! We loved everything about it!

Rating – Highly Likely!

2. Kiss Me Heroine Make Eyeliner

Price – RM 43

What we like – Since it is equipped with a soft brush, applying eyeliner around our eye rims have never been easier. Besides that, you can also adjust the way you stroke the wand to achieve a thinner or thicker look. #Winggamestrong

What we dislike – Need to draw over a few times to get a thick black line and it’s pricy.

Rating – Very Likely!

3. Silkygirl Perfect Sharp Matte Liquid Eyeliner

Price – RM 21

What we like – This product has the blackest pigment among all the eyeliners in this listicle. It is also thick, and super cheap!

What we dislike – It’s really wet upon application which took too long to dry, and we have mixed feelings with the marker-like brush. Our eyeliner smudged so easily when we got hit with water balloons on our faces. Additionally, you’ll have to spend quite some time to draw the perfect wing.

Rating – Less Likely
