#TheTwentyTens: Strange Eyebrow Trends That Went Viral In The 2010s
You better believe it when we say eyebrows made a huge impact in the 2010s. We’re not kidding when we say the brows had a 10-year evolution from 2010 -2019!
Here are some of the craziest eyebrow trends in the past decade.
1. Garden Eyebrows
Created by Taylor R, the fresh eyebrow look consists of a grass-hued base and decorated with flowers, butterflies and more to create the garden look!
2. Feathered Eyebrows
Stella Sironen, a makeup artist from Helsinki, Finland started the trend of feathered brows. All you need to recreate the look is to use cosmetic glue to part and spread the hair on your brows.
3. Squiggly Brows
This is probably one of the strangest brow trends of the decade – The Squiggly Brow! But it was a viral beauty trend at one point. All you need is a brow gel to create a wave-like form and fill in using an eyebrow pencil.
4. Braided Brows
You can now braid your brows too! Literally, the original idea used a gel for you to carefully braid your brow hair. But if you don’t have thick brows, just draw em’!
5. Fishtail Brows
No…You don’t have to shave your brows for this. Just use a pencil to draw and shape your brows into two distinct sections that are angled in opposite directions to make it look like a fish’s tail fin.
6. Dragon Brows
A self-taught makeup artist from Oregon by the name “V” or @Harlibi on Instagram created the dragon brow look. The brows are styled in upward spikes making it look like a dragon’s spike!
7. Gucci-inspired Brows
Make your bland brows high fashion by painting on Gucci-inspired snakes!
8. Glitter Brows
We reckon this would be perfect for the festive season!
9. Halo Brows
This is another strange brow trend that shooked the decade. Fancy having your brows as a halo?
10. Coloured Brows
But if the other trends are just way too much for you to handle, this is a much tamer way to do your brows!
