Singer Zizi Kirana Prefers Having Male Friends Instead Of Females, ‘’They Defend Me’’
Synonymous with sexy images and clothes, singer Zizi Kirana certainly did not miss the comments of netizens criticizing her on social media. In fact, just recently, Zizi revealed that she was often the victim of bullying during her adolescence.
According to Zizi—or her real name, Nurfazelah Mad Tahil, she was often ridiculed in terms of her physical appearance and skin color when she was in school. And because of that, she is more comfortable being friends with men because they ‘’always defend her.’’
The 35-years-old songstress said, “When I was a teenager, I myself, faced a situation where I became a victim of bullying at school. Various bad words were thrown because my physique. I was heavily insulted due to my dark skin color and was called jongang and rabbit teeth. Growing up, I did not pay much attention to the words and attitude of this bully to me. In addition, I am more comfortable making friends with men and those who always defend me.’’

Zizi also highlighted that after becoming an entertainer, she faced bullies even more, especially among netizens. Due to her sexy images, some even accused her of being a slut and having no religious beliefs. “Various accusations were tossed at me, among them, they accused me of being a slut. Worst of all, some citizens mocked me for having no religious beliefs. But, it does not matter because I am immune to it all. Especially cruel words from the public,” she concluded.
She’s right. Women are prone to be ‘’cyber-bully’’ than men, but it doesn’t mean men are better than women. What happened to #GirlsSupportGirls? Let’s be better, shall we?
