M’sian Fashion Designer’s Dresses Featured At The 2020 Golden Globes

Thanks to our local & world-renowned fashion designer, Khoon Hooi, Malaysian fashion made its mark at the first-ever red carpet affair of the decade, the Golden Globes.

Two Hollywood actresses were gorgeously dressed in the fashion designer’s most-coveted dresses.

Karen Pittman, who stars in the Golden Globe-nominated series, The Morning Show, was dressed to the nines in an outfit called the “Bianca Gown,” from Khoon Hooi’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The pink floor-length gown was strapless, fully-feathered and featured an orange ombre effect.

Meanwhile, Once Upon A Time star Ginnifer Goodwin was dressed in the “Fabiana Dress” from the same collection when she attended the 7th Annual Golden Globes Luncheon. Her one-shouldered dress was a striking navy blue with an abstract gold pattern.

The Perak-born designer’s brand has been making waves in the international fashion scene, and we can’t wait to see more of his gorgeous designs on the red carpet.

Just last December, award-winning singer-songwriter Katy Perry was spotted wearing an iconic, bow-shaped gown designed by Khoon Hooi to the 2019 Jingle Ball concert in Minnesota.

The same month also featured model and actress Camila Morrone dressed in Khoon Hooi for the Marrakech International Film Festival.
