Millennial Brides Are Ditching Traditional Wedding Veils

So, it’s your wedding day. Every bride would imagine her wedding dress – long, flowing, and ever so beautiful. But what about her wedding veil? The one garment through which she would see the love of her life. Is it even relevant any more?

Well, according to Etsy’s report about the latest wedding trends of 2019, brides are ditching the traditional wedding veil. The wedding industry is shook! Who else would say “yes” to the veil?

A moment of silence for our wedding veil please, even the British royals wore them, but millennial brides don’t seem to care about that. Here are the unconventional wedding veils that millennial brides are choosing over mom’s traditional one.

Feather veils

Fashion-forward millennial brides are switching up traditional headgear with nature’s elements such as feathers and gold-tinted likeness. This headdress would surely grab the attention of every guest at your wedding.

Vintage hats

Millennial brides who prefer a touch of traditional, but want to stay in trend with the “no-veil code” could opt for vintage bowler hats. It would look especially stunning if the bride can pull it off together with a vintage wedding dress, don’t you think?

One that doesn’t obscure the blushing bride’s glow – a wedding headband. Why didn’t we think of that before? This one, made of ivory tulle totally brings out the bride’s inner glow, and keeps her hair back, of course!

Floral topper

What’s a wedding without flowers? The answer is a very sustainable one, of course! If the millennial bride opted to not have bouquets of flowers at her wedding, then perhaps she would like a floral topper as a veil.

Bridal nets

For brides who prefer a traditional touch, the veil net is here to help. An alternative to the traditional wedding veil, the bridal net is usually designed with elegance in mind, including a net to cover the brides’ face (somewhat). Classy.
