Met Gala 2019: All The Trippiest Outfits Of The Night

It’s the first Monday of May, which means that the star-studded Met Gala is on tonight.

This year’s theme “Camp: Notes on Fashion” means to be extravagant and exaggerated, all in the name of fashion, and these celebs really went all-out to impress the red carpet and their fans.

We couldn’t wait to gather all the trippiest looks to show you, girls!

1. Janelle Monae

I am camp. It’s embedded in my DNA.

We feel you, Ms. Monae! She killed the red carpet with a trippy custom Christian Siriano dress, adorned with a Barbie pink, balloon-hipped creation and finished off with a motorized blinking eye over one breast.

2. Ezra Miller

Are our eyes on him or his eyes on us? If this was a staring competition, Miller would definitely win. The Fantastic Beasts actor left the crowd shook with the optical illusion of his many, many beautiful eyes. Did anyone even notice his theatrical Burberry suit? OMG.

3. Lupita Nyong’o

Never the one to shy away from colourful outfits, Lupita Nyong’o turned up at the Met Gala in a stunning Versace gown, accessorized with a matching fan and Afro picks to adorn her hair.

4. Dua Lipa

After seeing this trippy look by the Scared To Be Lonely singer, our lives will never be the same. Dua creates her own new rules at the red carpet and we’d better count ’em!

Gigi literally shone bright like a sequinned diamond in a star-studded, glamorous Michael Kors Collection jumpsuit with a custom hat. As Simplynailogical would say, this outfit is holosexual.

7. Jared Leto

The Joker wasn’t joking when he said he’d bring a miniature head of himself. Jared’s eerie look gives us the heebie jeebies but we wouldn’t have it any other way. & what’s up with the Game Of Thrones robe because we’re totally into it!

8. Kylie & Kendall Jenner

After not keeping to the 2018 theme, Jenner sisters really brought it together this Met Gala with their feathery outfits in pastel lavender and classic orange. Can anyone else keep up with the Jenners?
