Last week, Michelle shared her painful experience of undergoing the Covid-19 test in Sydney, Australiawhich is where Shang-Chi will be filmed. The caption wrote, “2nd test, sorry so wimpy!! Then has fab dinner to calm nerves..4 more days!!.’’ Minutes after, another Hollywood star confirmed for the movie, Awkwafina, commented on the post, saying, “I know your pain. But good news is I can see the color purple now.”

Marvel’s Shang-Chi was originally set for release in February 2021, but will likely be postponed due to production delays caused by COVID-19. Interestingly, Australian Channel 7News recently shared some footage from the helicopter view of the massive set with the crew hard at work on its construction. From the visuals provided, you’ll notice a large building being painted to make it look like a palace or temple.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Daniel Callaham, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, also include Tony Leung who will be playing the role of villain The Mandarin, Canadian actor Simu Liu in the lead, as well as comedian Ronny Chieng. We’re so excited for Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh!
