Kylie Jenner Trademarks Another Body Part
Kylie Jenner has gone ahead and officially trademarked “Kylie Hair” for a new haircare line, although this has yet to be announced by the billionaire herself. While she initially filed for the trademark back in May 2019, it has only just been approved this month. Could one of her latest Instagram posts be a nod to this new addition to her empire?
According to official documents, the trademark covers “hair shampoos, hair conditioners and hair care preparations; hair masks; hair detangling preparations; leave-in hair conditioner; dry shampoo; hair spray; hair oils; hair gels; hair mousse; hair styling preparations; hair dye”.
The 23-year-old billionaire started out with “Kylie Lip Kits” in 2015, which sold out within minutes. Since then, she’s moved onto Kylie Skin and her most recent endeavour, KyBrows.
Moving into the haircare line is not a surprising move (if not a little bit delayed), what with how often Kylie changes up her hairstyles.
According to Forbes, Jenner has over 125 trademarks – although this barely holds a candle to the combined total of over 700 trademarks filled between Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and her brother-in-law Kanye West. She also has a few after her daughter’s name Stormi. Moreover, after selling a majority stake of her Kylie Cosmetics beauty empire (for an estimated whopping $1.2billion) back in November 2019, she’s been allowed to focus more on the creative aspects of the brand as they work towards building the brand as an international beauty powerhouse.
This leaves us wondering… What’s next, Kylie?
