Kim Kardashian’s MUA Revealed The Best Trick To Apply Fake Eyelashes

Some love em’, some hate em’ — while some just can’t live without em’.

We’re talking about fake lashes. They’re beautiful and makes your eyes pop, but the thought of sticking one onto your eyelid could be scary if you have untrained hands. I mean, tell me you’ve never had any problems figuring out the right way to apply fake lashes. It’s nerve-wrecking, right? You could even spend hours trying to make it perfect!

P/S: For those of you who are blessed with full eyelashes, we are officially jealous.

But fret not my friends — I’ve got good news for you! In case you haven’t heard, Kim Kardashian West’s makeup artist of 10 years, Mario Dedivanovic, has just revealed the secret for applying fake eyelash.

The trick lies in your elbow

“When you’re learning to apply them on yourself, especially if you don’t have a steady hand, rest your elbow on some surface in front of you, like a desk,” Dedivanovic remarked in an interview. “It makes a world of a difference.”

Wow. If this trick made you go, “Duh, why didn’t I think of this sooner?”, then you are not the only one.

But of course! Although it might sound straightforward, how many of us actually use a flat surface to balance our wobbly arms while applying lashes? Not many. So let us all start opting for this new trick and see if it could make a difference.

Another word or wisdom that we can learn from Mario is that instead of using a brush cleaner, he cleans his makeup brushes with the same face wash he uses on his skin. G-E-N-I-U-S.
