Kim Kardashian West just launched her first ever mascara on 23rd November.
It is a part of her brand, KKW Beauty’s Glam Bible Smokey Volume 1 set, which features a full collection of beauty products. What’s interesting is that the collection allows you to re-create the Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star signature look.
However, Kim K isn’t the first celebrity to launch a beauty collection. Here are 8 other celebrities who’ve made bank from launching their own line of beauty products.
1. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna
Rihanna’s beauty line, Fenty Beauty was a hit when first launched, blessing girls of different colours with its 40 diverse shades of foundation. What’s more, the release also included concealers, blush/highlighter duo with a compact mirror, creamy stick highlighters, makeup brushes, lip glosses, beauty blender and a tube of blotting papers.
2. Moonshot by YG Entertainment
Moonshot is one of Korea’s hottest
latest brand backed by YG Entertaintment, the label responsible for K-pop groups like BIGBANG and 2NE. The cosmetic brand was launched in 2014 and since then, its popularity has gone up with fans from all over Asia racing to grab products from this brand the minute their favourite artist wears it. The brand also partnered with Coson, the cosmetics R&D manufacturer behind Korea’s biggest beauty brands.
