Guess What? Women Are Actually Better Drivers Than Men

Funny how stereotypically we’d think that women are just horrible drivers but science says otherwise. According to a new study done by Confused.com, women are better drivers than men. Hell yeah!

The research carried out by the price comparison site in the UK conducted the research to determine which sex was the better driver by analysing statistics on insurance, crime rates and driving test results.

Women take a longer time to get their driving license

The study found that women tend to fail the first time they sit in for their driving test, but once they’ve passed, they’re much safer and more responsible on the road.

Men are more likely to get into accidents

Data also showed that women are less likely to get into a car accident. This meant that insurance claims made by women are lesser compared to men.

It was discovered that on average, women foot  £92 (RM485) less than men for their insurance in a year.

Female drivers are obedient to traffic rules

The research also indicated that female drivers committed fewer traffic offences. Back in 2017, data showed 23% of men were caught speeding while women found guilty of this crime were 7% only.

Do you think it’s the same for Malaysian drivers too? Let us know!
