#IWD2020: Fun Things To Look Forward For This Women’s Day Weekend

1. Women’s Day March

March 8 has been set for the Women’s March Malaysia, in conjunction with the International Women’s Day, with its organising committee outlining seven demands for the government. The organiser also called for an end to all violence based on gender and sexual orientation, banning child marriages, ensuring women’s rights and freedom to make choices over their own bodies and lives, as well as equal pay for work of equal value and equal public and political participation involving women.

2. Celebrating Women – International Women’s Day 2020

Come dressed up as your favourite superheroine or superhero couple to Mancave Cafe & Collectibles, Puchong, on the 8th of March to celebrate International Women’s Day. Celebrating Women event is a free, exclusive closed-door event for single women, women with partners, or the partners supporting their women. They are using everyday women as models to celebrate women from Malaysia and women living in Malaysia.

In collaboration with All Women’s Action Society (AWAM), they will be hosting a full day of fun, empowering activities on the 7th March, from 3:30PM onward, in celebration and support of equal opportunity & rights for all.
