Elisabeth Moss Reveals 3 Things She’s Most Afraid Of

Best known for her character June in The Handmaid’s Tale—which landed her first Emmy award in 2018—Elisabeth Moss is one of those stars who always kind of flew under the radar. She was named ‘’Queen of Peak Tv’’ by Vulture after successfully earning two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.

But, amidst all of the achievements she has made, there are still few things that you didn’t know about Elisabeth Moss. In her recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, ‘’The Invisible Man’’ star reveals 3 things that she’s most frightened of (and it is not the Invisible Man).

1. Water

“I love looking at the ocean and whatnot,” says Moss, whose credits also include last year’s Jordan Peele-directed horror film Us. “Beaches, I like all of that. I’m not a huge fan of going in the water. That’s my main phobia. There’s creatures in there that are going to eat you. I’m just not really comfortable with that.”

2. Silence

“I was at Sundance in Park City, Utah, and it was so quiet. I’m a city girl. I find comfort in being surrounded by people and there being a constant din of noise. Water? We’re never going to become friends. It’s fine. Silence, I actually think is a good thing. But I’m not used to it.”

3. The Strangers (2008)

‘’That [movie] is brilliant. The director’s move to put the final scene in daylight is absolutely terrifying.”

If you wish to see more of Elisabeth Moss, don’t forget to see ‘’The Invisible Man’’—a spine-chilling movie about a crazy scientist who turns invisible to stalk and terrorize his ex-girlfriend. Hitting cinemas, 5th of March 2020.
