Likely’s Favourite Launches Of The Week

New week, new releases! There’s always a reason to shop for all things beautiful, yummy and trendy.

We’ll bring you the hottest launches of the week – from SPF-infused eyeshadow, Amazon’s latest skincare range and new Sakura-inspired drinks by Starbucks.

Scroll through and see if you spot anything that intrigues you.

1. SPF-infused Eyeshadow by Supergoop!

Sun protection is growing faster than skincare and Supergoop is the latest brand to capitalize on this trend by releasing shimmer eyeshadow infused with SPF 30, namely “Shimmershade.” First of all, yay! Now our eyelids can shimmer and shine without getting wrinkles caused by free radical activity in UV rays. Supergoop is primarily focused on sun care, so you know you can trust ’em. Since we don’t normally put SPF on our eyes, let’s get some Shimmershade on our lids!

2. Sakura-inspired drinks by Starbucks

For spring, Starbucks takes inspiration from Japan’s blooming Sakura blossoms. Coffee-lovers will enjoy sipping on these two novelty flavours. The Azuki Crème Blossom Frappuccino is a dreamy treat that combines red bean with milk and ice before being topped with more red bean, whipped cream, and sprinkles of cranberry, pink and white rice petals. Meanwhile, the Matcha Azuki Crème Blossom Frappuccino is a similar flavour, with matcha in the yummy mix.

3. Disney Villains Collection by ColourPop

ColourPop releases quite an unstoppable amount of collections throughout the year, but their most recent one really catches the evil eye. The US-based makeup brand released a whole collection inspired by Disney’s most iconic villains to complement their existing Disney princess collection. We’re really looking forward to the pressed powder eyeshadow palettes filled with deep shades of purple and accents of shimmer. Honestly, who needs to be a Disney princess when you can be a diva-esque villain instead?

4. Fitbit Versa Lite and Inspire HR

This week, Fitbit launched Versa Lite, a simplified and more affordable version of their much-loved Versa smartwatch. The watch can be navigated using a touchscreen. It calculates your heart rate, has a GPS, and a 5-day battery life. The lite smartwatch comes Lilac, Marina Blue, Mulberry and White – it’s the ideal smartwatch for students and fresh graduates who want a taste of the fit life!

Meanwhile, Fitbit also released Inspire HR, which is a touch more expensive than the versa lite, but has more options to track metrics – like advanced calorie burn and sleep stages. The sleek smartwatch comes in either black, lilac or white. Plus, it’s waterproof so you can swim or shower with the smartwatch.

5. Milk Candy Lip-balm by Vase Creation

If you didn’t manage to get your hands on white rabbit candy-flavored ice-cream, here’s a beauty alternative to perk you up. Give your pout some TLC with the newest Milk Candy Lip-balm by Vase Creation. The best part? It’s made with all-natural ingredients including the essence of sweet almonds, jojoba, shea butter, organic wax, vitamin E, and milk candy. Allow yourself to teleport back in time with this milk candy-flavoured lip balm. Cute and yummy!

6. ZERO Feel by Sloggi

Sloggi’s new ZERO Feel collection encourages you to forget everything you’ve ever known about bras. Send some love to your girls and pamper them with a bra you can barely feel. Yes, you’re wearing it, but it’s so comfortable that the feeling just isn’t there. It’s wireless, yet supportive due to seamless, dot-binding technology that allows the bra to fit snugly to it’s wearer. Plus, it’s available in 6 different colours, including Pantone’s Colour of the Year, living coral. What a babe!

7. Timewise Vitamin C Activating Squares by Mary Kay

Power-up your skincare products with Mary Kay’s latest Timewise Vitamin C Activating Squares. Vitamin C adds radiance to your skin, evens out wrinkles and encourages skin brightening. The ingredient also helps build collagen to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Just add a square of this pure concentrated Vitamin C into your skincare serums and apply the mixture onto your skin. It’ll probably take a week or two to see the anti-ageing and brightening results – but it’ll be worth it!

8. Belei Skincare by Amazon

Amazon just launched it’s very first skincare line – and it’s so minimalist! Their in-house skincare line includes moisturisers, serums, acids, masks and makeup wipes. The skincare collection is made with retinol, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, formulated without parabens, sulfates or fragrances. Sounds pretty great for those with sensitive skin. Don’t worry, it’s tested by dermatologists and fits perfectly on your Instagram-worthy shelfie. Brb – adding to cart!
