Beauty Brands That Reward You For Recycling
Oh how we love makeup! We can never seem to get enough of them which we happily splurge on. So what do you with those empty bottles, dried out mascara, or lipstick tubes that you no longer want? Most of us would just throw these items away. But what if we told you, recycling your beauty products not only saves the earth but can earn you brownie points too?
Here’s a list of eco-conscious brands that’ll help to recycle your cosmetic items and will reward you for it too!
1. M.A.C Cosmetics
In effort to being an environment conscious brand, M.A.C accept returns of its primary packaging through their Back To Mac Program. Just return six of M.A.C primary packaging containers to the brand counters and you’ll receive a free lipstick as a thank you. Best part, you get to choose your own lipstick!
For the past 10 years, this K-beauty brand has collected over 800,000 bottles through its Empty Bottle Recycling Campaign. Get rewarded with 100 membership points when you bring bottles to any Innisfree stores. However this excludes makeup and canned type products.
Recycle Clarins product packaging including paper cartons, plastic bottles and glass jars. Although there won’t be any freebies, it shouldn’t really matter if Clarins is part of your beauty routine. Plus, it’s for a good cause!
